About Us

Laura is a native of rural Manitowoc, Wisconsin where she helped raise the family's Half Arab and Quarter horses, Shetland ponies, German Shepard and American Eskimo dogs, cats, cows, chickens, pigs, turtles, parakeets, rabbits, ducks and fish.

Since the early 70's she has always had at least one Pomeranian dog (currently has two) and has also raised several Keeshond dogs, cats, several types of birds, hamsters and fish. Laura also has a Bengal cat.

Laura, and her husband Gene reside in Southeastern Murfreesboro, TN . She has a daughter and a grandson.

She first gained her experience in the pet sitting business in 1975 as member of the Navy in San Diego and later in Jacksonville, FL as a former Navy spouse. She is retired from the Department of Defense (Defense Logistics Agency) as a systems analyst and a government contractor. The military communities are often in desperate need of someone to care for their beloved pets and keep an eye on the homes on short notice. Laura and her fellow military friends often filled that need for each other.

Laura possesses two AS degrees in Marketing and Business from Florida Community College in Jacksonville.
